LIMESTONE – Chris Howland scored a pair of goals and Aaron Fitzpatrick and Ian Pasquarelli each had a goal and an assist to lead Houlton to a 7-1 boys soccer victory over Limestone/Maine School of Mathematics and Science on Monday.
Justin Stewart, Sharif Aboulisk and Andrew Parsons also scored for the Shiretowners, while Pat Rowe and Theron Larkins added assists.
Andrew Pelletier scored on a Karsten Bleech assist for Limestone.
Eben Thompson made eight saves on 15 shots for 1-7-1 Houlton. Travis Pierce made eight saves on 19 shots for 0-9-1 Limestone.
FF Tigers 2, Katahdin 2 (2OT)
At Fort Fairfield, Patrick Willette scored his second goal of the game with five minutes left in the second half to help Katahdin of Sherman Station salvage a tie.
Jacob McNally and Frank Grass combined to make nine saves on 18 shots for the Cougars.
Fernando Costa and Robbie McNamee each scored a goal for Fort Fairfield. Tyler Bernaiche had 12 saves on 21 shots.
Calais 2, Narraguagus 0
At Calais, Gary Smiley scored on a penalty kick and Zach Gillespie added a goal with an assist by Jacob Ludington.
Chris Woodside saved all five shots for the 3-2-2 Blue Devils. For the 1-6-1 Knights of Harrington, Josh Look faced nine shots and made seven saves.
Jonesport-Beals 1, Shead 1 (2OT)
At Jonesport, Jonesport-Beals’ Benjamin Ellis and Shead’s Dann Bowen scored the game’s only goals
Abraham Beal made seven saves on 18 shots for 1-3-1 Jonesport-Beals. Josh Francis made seven saves on 11 shots for 3-1-2 Shead.
Washington Acad. 6, Woodland 1
At Woodland, Nehad Mici scored two goals and assisted on another to lead the Washington Academy Raiders of East Machias to victory.
Whitney Stevens had a goal and an assist for the Raiders. Ryan Harmon, Lorenzo Burch, Yung Soo Kim and Peter Edwards all added a goal each. Jeremy Gray saved 12 of 13 shots for the 5-1 Raiders.
Ben Leighton scored for the 1-4 Dragons. Craig Moody made 14 saves on 20 shots.
Piscataquis 2, Dexter 1
At Dexter, Chase Burdin’s unassisted goal with 2:18 left in the second half helped the Pirates of Guilford remain unbeaten.
Dexter led 1-0 at intermission on an Aaron Woodman goal that was assisted by Ben Lemieux. Piscataquis Community High’s Joe Jardine tied the game on a penalty kick 8:45 into the second half.
Josh Luellen made 16 saves on 26 shots for 7-0 PCHS. Sam Bowers made 12 saves on 29 shots for 5-2 Dexter.
Winslow 5, MCI 0
At Pittsfield, Joey Corey scored a hat trick to lead the visiting Black Raiders.
Colin Hay and Golf Pentong each scored. Hay, Tony Corneau, and Alley Smith all added assists. Andrew Sirois saved eight of 10 shots for 5-1 Winslow.
Tristan Goewey and Greg Duffley combined for 18 saves on 25 shots for the 1-5 Huskies.

Camden Hills 3, Mount View 1
At Thorndike, first-half goals by David Pike and Andrew Marchetti propelled Camden Hills to victory.
Cory McLean added a second-half goal for the Windjammers, while Lewis Wheelwright earned an assist.
Zach Pillsbury scored for Mount View.
Andrew Rogers and Morgan Kerr combined to make four saves on five shots for Camden Hills. Alex Mitchell made nine saves on 14 shots for Mount View.

At Belfast, Diego Olivares scored the only goal with the assist by Chris Williams.
Collin Cunning saved four of seven shots for the 4-2 Lions. Josh Peasley faced 17 shots with 10 saves for 2-4 Lincoln Academy of Newcastle.

At Howland, Garrett Lavertu scored a pair of goals, including one on a penalty kick, as host Penobscot Valley improved to 3-2-3.
Ryan Ware had the other PVHS goal and Josh Ireland made 16 saves on 17 shots.
Anthony Cole scored for 2-3 Bangor Christian, and D.J. McCleary made 24 saves on 27 shots.

Lee Acad. 4, Woodland 1
At Lee, Shelby Pickering scored three goals as the host Pandas won an early season battle of the unbeatens.
Jodi Worster added a goal for 6-0 Lee, while Kristen Hersom and Ashley Gifford each had an assist.
Kaitlyn Leeman scored for 5-1 Woodland.
Worster and Jackie Moors combined to make seven saves on 10 shots for Lee. Lauren Troiani made 12 saves on 26 shots for Woodland.

At East Machias, Tera Sargent, Jordan Reed and Kate Rock all scored unassisted goals to lead the Sumner Tigers past Washington Academy.
Riley Bragdon notched the shutout with four saves on four shots.
Meghann Rose had five saves on eight shots for the Raiders.
Shead 4, Calvary Chapel 3
At Eastport, Skylar Richardson’s goal with 11:08 left in the second half lifted host Shead past Calvary Chapel of Orrington.
Richardson and Samantha Davis each had a goal and an assist for Shead, while Patricia Candelmo and Vicki Morrison also scored goals and Valerie Bowen and Laureta Ricker added assists.
Monique Veilleux scored three unassisted goals for Calvary Chapel.
Brittany Cox made eight saves on 11 shots for 3-3 Shead. Jess Graves made four saves on eight shots for 4-2 Calvary Chapel.
Camden Hills 6, Mount View 0
At Rockport, Caitlin Brown racked up two goals and two assists to propel the Windjammers.
Tana Scott had two goals and an assist for 5-1 Camden Hills. Carmen Forzetting added a goal and an assist, Allyson Ettinger scored a goal and Kayla Gushee recorded one assist. Beth Herron saved all six shots she faced.
Megan Rehmeyer stopped 12 of 20 shots for the 1-5 Mustangs of Thorndike.

Foxcroft Acad. 4, Nokomis 1
At Dover-Foxcroft, Rolinda Mitchell scored two goals and Eryn Curry had a goal and an assist as the host Ponies improved their record to 4-2.
Harita Reddy also scored a goal for Foxcroft, while Morgan Randlett scored for Nokomis.
Foxcroft goalie Ashley Smith made four saves on five shots, while Kristen Gould made 23 saves on 27 shots for 2-4 Nokomis.

Dexter 11, Bangor 1
At Dexter, Meagan Fogarty and Sarah Wyman each contributed three goals as the Tigers rolled by Bangor.
Wyman also assisted on three goals for 7-0 Dexter. Brittany Veazie had two goals and three assists. Vanessa Hartford added two more goals. Keriann Patterson had one goal and two assists. Cindy Koscielny and Kellie Wilson combined for two saves on four shots.
Nicole Bureau scored Bangor’s lone goal. Bonnie Kase saved 15 of 39 shots.
