ROCKLAND – The Retail Lumber Dealers’ Association of Maine recently named Kevin D. Hancock its Lumber Dealer of the Year for 2003. Hancock is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Hancock Lumber Company Inc., based in Casco. Sen. Susan Collins presented the award at the association’s meeting Sept. 6 at the Samoset Resort in Rockland.
Hancock is treasurer of the National Lumber Dealers’ Association. He will become the first vice chairman of the national organization in 2003 and is in line to become the first lumber dealer from Maine to be chairman of the association.
