BOYS

Big School (Classes A-B)

MIKE PRENTISS

Prentiss, a senior running back and defensive back for the Bangor High School football team, rushed for 326 yards and four touchdowns in the Rams’ 29-7 victory against Mt. Blue in Farmington on Friday night. Prentiss averaged 8.3 yards per carry and scored on runs of 1, 61, 2 and 10 yards.

Small School (Classes C-D)

JOE JARDINE

Jardine, a sophomore forward for the Piscataquis Community High School soccer team, scored five goals in three games as the unbeaten Pirates improved to 7-0 on the season. Jardine had three of his goals in an 8-1 victory over Bangor Christian.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

TANA SCOTT

The Camden Hills soccer sophomore scored both goals in a key 2-1 win over Winslow and chipped in with two goals and an assist in a 6-0 victory over Mount View to help the Windjammers to a 5-1 record.

Small School (Classes C-D)

LIZ TYLER

Tyler, a senior goalie for the George Stevens Academy soccer team, made 19 saves on 22 shots in the Eagles last three games and has not given up a goal so far this season. GSA is now 4-0-1.
