AUGUSTA – The former town treasurer of Manchester has pleaded innocent to 31 counts of forgery in connection with the disappearance of $212,000 in municipal funds.

Patsy Rollins, 50, of Sidney entered her plea Wednesday in Kennebec County Superior Court. Rollins is accused of keeping property tax payments for herself when they were submitted to the town, and then falsifying tax documents on 31 Manchester residents.
