OLD TOWN – Hermon High School’s Wyatt Sabo answered John Garrity’s goal and Corey Archer made 17 saves on 21 shots as the Hawks put the first blemish on Old Town’s record by forging a 1-1 double-overtime tie in schoolboy soccer action Thursday.
Hermon is now 4-1-1.
Tyler Tracewski had 10 saves on 12 shots for 7-0-1 Old Town.

Orono 4, Nokomis 3
At Newport, Aloysha Klose scored three times and assisted on Dominique Raschle’s game-winner as Orono improved to 3-3-1.
Klose’s hat trick goal broke a 2-2 tie 1:24 into the second half and he set up Raschle with 20:08 left.
Tom Smyth had two assists for the Riots and Chris McConnon had one. Mat Lint made eight saves on 16 shots.
Evan McDaniel scored twice for 1-6-1 Nokomis and Matt Thornton had the other goal. Seth Bradstreet had two assists.
Brendan Donaldson and Zach Wing combined for seven saves on 16 shots.

Hampden 5, Brewer 0
At Hampden, five different scorers helped the Broncos to the 5-0 win.
Alex Wiken, Martin Early, Nattapong Kongsuriya, Trevor Campbell, and Keith Zanardi all added goals. Wiken, Andre Cushing and Eric Kelmonson contributed an assist each.
Kenny Mayo saved all four shots for 5-3 Hampden. For 1-6 Brewer, Danny Juilli had 14 saves on 19 shots.

Presque Isle 5, Bucksport 0
At Bucksport, Trevor Graves scored two goals for the 6-0-2 Wildcats.
Benji Lynch, Greg Whitaker and Derek Belanger all added goals. Lynch, Jeff Cole, and Robert Gartley notched assists and Sean Daigle saved four of 11 shots.
Miles Bisher had five saves on 19 shots for the 0-7 Bucks.

Calvary Chapel 9, East Grand 0
At Bangor’s Boucher Field, Brock Bradford scored a pair of goals and assisted on another as 4-2 Calvary Chapel of Orrington cruised.
Tyler Dean, Justin Morin, Rosaire Veilleux, Kyle Bradford, Chris Phillips, Brian Miller and Jeremy Martin had the other goals and Stephan Gerritzen had two assists.
Tyler Ganz, Andrew Lowe and Christian Gaffney had an assist apiece.
Schenck 0, DI-Stonington 0 (2OT)
At East Millinocket Wednesday, the Wolverines outshot the Mariners 31-6, but Deer Isle-Stonington goalkeeper Rob Haskell came up with 17 saves as the teams battled to a scoreless draw.
Chad Nelson made four saves on six shots for 3-2-2 Schenck.
The Mariners are now 3-3-2.

Hampden 8, Brewer 0
At Brewer, Jessie Aylward led the 6-2 Broncos with three goals and Kim Stephenson added two goals and three assists. Katie Lawler and Johanna Ghiringehlli each contributed a goal and an assist; Grace Cushing scored a goal and Annaliesse Lafayette and Sarah Robichaud chipped in an assist apiece.
Morgan Greenlaw saved all six shots for Hampden. For the 1-6 Witches, Katie Harris had 26 saves on 34 shots.

Calvary Chapel 7, East Grand 1
At Husson College in Bangor, sisters Monique and Chauntel Veilleux each scored two goals to lead Calvary Chapel of Orrington to victory.
Shaela Colby, Brittney Lowe and Jeni Grice scored single goals for the Sabres.
Sarah Gringer scored East Grand’s goal.
Jessica Graves stopped all six shots she faced for 5-2 Calvary Chapel. Paula Osnoe saved 23 of 30 shots for 0-6 East Grand.
Central 1, Bangor Christian 0
At Corinth, Mallorie Jones scored on a Sadie Chretien pass to lift the host Red Devils to their fourth win of the season.
Nicole Daniels earned the shutout with five saves on six shots for 4-4 Central. Johannah Kutz made six saves on seven shots for 3-4 Bangor Christian.
Penquis 5, Dexter 1
At Dexter, Shannon Gerrish and Erin Beasley both scored twice for the Patriots.
Kristin Burch added a goal. Helping with assists were Sam Ellis and Gerrish. Nicole Nason saved eight of 12 shots for 6-1 Penquis.
Sabrina Cote scored the lone goal for the 1-7-1 Tigers. After goalie Lindsay Burton was injured, Cote and Amber Jones took her place. The three combined for 12 saves on 15 shots.
John Bapst 1, MDI 1 (2OT)
At Bangor, Elaine Colwell scored with 22:34 left in the second half to rally host John Bapst to the tie.
Mount Desert Island’s Michelle McLlaughlin had scored exactly one minute earlier to give her team a 1-0 lead.
Ashley Pearson made six saves on 10 shots for 3-3-1 John Bapst. Asia Ross made 17 saves on 21 shots for 0-4-2 MDI.

Old Town 4, Hermon 0
At Hermon, Katie Bergeron scored three goals to lead Old Town past the host Hawks.
Jen Jones also scored for the Indians, while Jen Higgins and Hannah Marquis each had an assist.
Whitney Carey made seven saves on 19 shots for 3-5 Old Town. Shannon Dobbins made five saves on 20 shots for 3-2-1 Hermon.

At Guilford, Leslie Nelson scored three goals as the visiting Ponies posted their second win of the season.
Leslie Martin scored two goals for Foxcroft, while Kristi Roberts, Lindsey Chase and Kristina Wentworth added one goal each.
Stephany Taylor scored for Piscataquis on an assist from Morgan Pratley.
Jenny Matthews made 10 saves on 20 shots for the 0-7 Pirates.
Orono 2, Nokomis 1
At Orono, Kate Kirby scored a goal and assisted on the other to lead the Orono Red Riots to the win over Nokomis of Newport.
Olivia Alford scored the other goal for the 3-2-1 Riots. Marie Lint made nine saves on 13 shots.
Amy Preble scored on a Kristina Gonzalez assist for the 3-5-1 Warriors. Rozlyn Peterson saved 10 of 15 shots.

At Greenville, Lauren Dallam and Darla Larsen each scored two goals for the Greenville Lakers.
Danielle Anderson, Sarah Hansen and Ariel Cantara had one each and Crystal Ferris notched the shutout without making a save.
Kayla Beaulieu made 25 saves on 46 shots for the 0-6 Averill Beavers of Hinckley.

At Houlton, Claire Thompson scored off a Katherine Cole pass, Danielle Sewell converted a penalty kick and Anna Lenentine stopped all five shots she faced as Houlton blanked Schenck of East Millinocket.
The Shires improved to 5-4-1.
Megan Carey stopped 13 of 15 shots for the 3-5-1 Wolverines.
Searsport 4, GSA 3
At Brewer’s Capri Street School field, Shanna Murphy scored a pair of goals and Jessica Wilson had a goal and an assist as Searsport High School upped its record to 5-1 with its win over Georges Stevens Academy of Blue Hill.
Abby Tripp scored the other Viking goal and Annette Anderson had an assist. Mo Hall made 16 saves on 24 shots.
Rachael Wardwell had a goal and an assist for the 5-1-1 Eagles. Brandi Winters and Sadie Beardsworth had the other goals and Liz Taylor made 19 saves on 24 shots.
Woodland 1, So. Aroostook 0
At Dyer Brook, Erika Brown’s goal with 18:27 left in the second half helped Woodland improve its record to 6-1.

Stearns 2, Hampden Acad. 1
At Millinocket, Holly Franck scored a pair of goals as Stearns edged the visiting Broncos.
Lisa Kranick had an assist for the winners.
Deanna Michaud made three saves on four shots for 5-3 Stearns. Gretchen Lessard and Hannah Thieme made seven saves on eight shots for 4-4 Hampden Academy.

At Pittsfield, five different players scored to lead the Tigers past Maine Central Institute.
Tegan Atwell, Beth Allen, Caitlyn Grant, Whitney Russiler and Lindsay Barnes each scored for the 3-3-0 winners.
Macki Sullivan scored the goal for the 2-5-0 Huskies.
