LINCOLNVILLE – The Department of Conservation’s Maine Forest Service will offer a free Project Canopy Community Tree Steward training program on Oct. 3-5, at the Tanglewood 4-H Camp and Learning Center.
Participants will learn how to identify, select and prune trees. They also will tour existing community forest projects, observe presentations and take part in hands-on practical exercises.
