ELLSWORTH -Kris Tracy deflected in a low corner kick with 4:35 remaining in the game as the Ellsworth Eagles handed the Presque Isle Wildcats their first loss of the season, 3-2, in schoolboy soccer action Saturday.
Tracy finished with a pair of goals, and Jensen Rich had a goal and an assist. Noah Brown made nine saves on 12 shots and also had an assist for 7-0-1 Ellsworth.
Nate Carter led 6-1-2 Presque Isle with a goal and an assist, and Greg Whitaker had a goal. Sean Daigle turned back 16 of 21 shots.

Dexter 2, Penquis 0
At Dexter, Jeremy Kenney scored a goal in each half as the Tigers blanked the Patriots.
Luke Marquis had an assist for Dexter and Sam Bowers faced 17 shots and saved 12.
Kevin Nason stopped 13 out of 24 shots for Penquis of Milo.
Caribou 2, Foxcroft 0
At Caribou, David Levasseur scored an unassisted goal to lift Caribou past Foxcroft.
Andrew Cashman added a goal and Eric Mowatt an assist for the 5-3-2 Vikings. Micah Maurio and Brad Ala made six saves on 12 shots between them.
Brad Bellemare saw 16 shots and saved four for the 0-7 Ponies.
Bangor Christian 1, Lee 0
At Bangor, Josh Griffin scored off a pass from Anthony Cole in the first half as the Patriots edged Lee.
D.J. McCleary made 19 saves on 22 shots for 3-5 Bangor Christian. Kris King stopped 13 out of 19 shots for the 6-3 Pandas.

At Newport, Sam Boss tallied two goals and Omar Carter notched a goal plus an assist to lead the Rams.
Sean Boley and Dan Malmer added goals while Adam Towne and Dylan George notched assists for 5-3 Bangor. Austin Smith had seven saves on 10 shots.
Brandon Donaldson stopped 14 of 25 shots for the 1-7-1 Warriors.

Central 4, Deer Isle-Stonington 2
At Corinth, Jimmy Connolly knocked in three goals to lead Central to a 4-2 win.
Josh Underhill added a goal and assist. Tristan Strout helped with an assist. Joey Kane made 13 saves on 16 shots for the 2-6 Red Devils.
Bryant Ciomei scored both goals for the 3-4-2 Mariners. Rob Haskell saved 20 of 25 shots.
Searsport 4, Calvary Chapel 1
At the Pendleton Street Field in Brewer, Matt Nickerson scored three goals as Searsport improved to 5-1-1.
Drew Mercier added one goal for Searsport, which outscored Calvary Chapel 3-0 in the second half.
Brock Bradford scored for Calvary Chapel.
Searsport goalie Jake Manner stopped 12 of 15 shots. Tyler Genz saved 15 of 21 shots for 4-3 Calvary Chapel.
Field hockey
Belfast 3, Lincoln Acad. 1
At Newcastle, Britt Reed scored two goals as visiting Belfast improved to 6-2.
Kallie Aldus also scored for the Lions, who led 2-1 at halftime. Britt Cummings and Kelsey Jackson each had an assist.
Alex Petrillo scored for Lincoln Academy on an Alison Pierce assist.
Belfast goalies Amanda Littlefield and Liz Anderson combined to make three saves on four shots. Nicole Russell made 20 saves on 23 shots for 1-6 Lincoln Academy.

At Corinth, Mallorie Jones, Sadie Chretien, Lindsey Allen and Ashley Bubar each scored a goal for the 5-4 Red Devils.
Nicole Daniels saved all nine shots she faced. Regyn Lawry made seven saves on 17 shots for the Mariners.
Bucksport 1, Ellsworth 0
At Bucksport, Brittani Adams scored an unassisted goal in the second half to propel the Bucks to the win.
Katie Hurd had two saves on three shots for 4-2-1 Bucksport while Victoria Jones countered with two saves against six shots for the 2-3-2 Eagles.
Dexter 6, Piscataquis 1
At Dexter, Emily Whalen scored a school-record five goals to lead the Tigers.
Maria Potter added a goal for 2-7-1 Dexter. Lindsay Burton and Amber Jacobs saw three shots and saved two of them.
Jessica Crouse scored 0-7 Piscataquis of Guilford’s only goal. Charley Bradford stopped 11 out of 31 shots.
Caribou 5, Foxcroft 1
At Caribou, five different players scored for the Vikings.
Amy Bouchard, Nikole Lopez, Lauren Harrigan, Monica Selander and Stephanie Schofield provided goals while Michelle Ouellette and Amelia Cote had assists. Billie Martin made one save on two shots.
Erica Kaufmann scored off a Brittany Farley pass for the 2-5-1 Ponies. Kate Walsh and Ashley Marden saw 38 shots and saved 13.
Shead 1, East Grand 0 (2OT)
At Eastport, Fawn Cummings scored off a pass from Patricia Candelmo with 2:08 to play in the second overtime as the Tigerettes prevailed.
Brittany Cox stopped all four shots she faced for 5-3 Shead while Paula Osnoe had 10 saves on 14 shots for the 0-7 Vikings of Danforth.
