MACHIAS – The Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises Inc. plans October workshops for people who want to learn about e-commerce and Web site building.

The workshops are: “Introduction to E-Commerce,” 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7; “Planning Your Web Site,” 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7; “Marketing and Promoting Your Web Site,” 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16; and “Evaluating the Effectiveness of Your Web Site,” from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 17, all at the Machias Career Center. The workshop “Creating Your Web Site,” will be from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in a yet to be announced location. All sessions are free of charge.
