PRESQUE ISLE – The first Family Fun and Fitness Night will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle Campus Center.

The event, which is free to the public, will provide the opportunity for families to “test drive” new and old cold-weather activities and meet representatives from a variety of businesses and organizations.

Youngsters also can enjoy the pumpkin decorating and coloring contest, and door prizes will be offered.

The event is co-sponsored by Barresi Financial Inc., Katahdin Trust Co. and The Aroostook Medical Center Women’s Health Center.
