BELFAST – Kallie Aldus scored the game-winning goal off a Jamie Flagg assist with 10:44 left in the game to lead Belfast past Erskine Academy of South China 2-1 in field hockey action Thursday.
Aldus tied the game in the second half for the Lions with the aid of Britt Reed. Amanda Littlefield stopped five of six shots for 8-2 Belfast.
Cristen Burke gave the Eagles the early lead with an unassisted goal with 6:55 left in the first half and Sarah Anderson made 20 saves on 22 shots for 2-7-1 Erskine.

Hampden Acad. 2, Nokomis 1
At Newport, Erika Veinote scored with 3:51 left to lift Hampden Academy to victory.
Jenna Veinote earned an assist on the game-winner.
Nokomis took a 1-0 halftime lead on an unassisted goal by Kellye Palmer. Hampden tied the game on a goal by Ann Wood, assisted by Aly Lumino.
Caroline Samp made five saves on six shots for 5-4 Hampden. Kirsten Gould made eight saves on 10 shots for 3-6 Nokomis.

Waterville 2, Mount View 1
At Thorndike, Annie Deese and Whitney Russo scored goals as the visiting Panthers improved to 9-1 on the season.
Shelly Roberts added an assist for Waterville.
Lindsey Hunter scored for 6-2-1 Mount View.
Waterville goalie Ashley Poulin made 11 saves on 12 shots. Mount View’s Meagen Carman made 10 saves on 12 shots.

Greenville 5, East Grand 0
At Danforth, Kristie Richardson had a goal and an assist as Greenville remained unbeaten.
Kristen Sutherland, Hannah Breton, Crystal Ferris and Ariel Cantara also scored for the 8-0-1 Lakers.
Greenville goalie Beth Bartley was not required to make a save. Jodie Crone and Paula Osnoe combined on 16 saves for 0-8 East Grand. Greenville outshot East Grand 21-1.

At East Machias, Gena Clark scored three goals and Beth Covey notched three assists to help the Dragons improve to 7-1-1.
Kaitlyn Leeman chipped in with a goal and an assist for the Dragons and Heidi Graceffa and Tiffany Wormell each put in a goal. Maria Reyes notched an assist and goalies Leeman and Keely Gayton combined for six saves on six shots.
Megan Look made 15 saves on 21 shots for 0-6 WA of East Machias.

At Newport, Kim Stephenson scored four times to lead Hampden to their eighth win of the year.
Jessie Aylward netted a goal for the Broncos as Johanna Ghiringehlli had two assists. Annaliesse Lafayette and Amy Dumont each provided an assist. Becca Workman blocked eight of 10 shots for 8-2 Hampden.
Rozlyn Peterson stopped 27 of 27 attempts for 3-6-1 Nokomis.

Brewer 0, Hermon 0
At Brewer, goalies Katie Harris of the host Witches and Hermon’s Shannon Wiggins both earned shutouts.
Wiggins made 11 saves on 13 shots, while Harris made 14 saves on 16 shots.
Brewer is now 1-8-1, while Hermon is 4-4-2.
Boys soccer
Greenville 10, East Grand 0
At Greenville, sophomore Jonah Lizotte had five goals and an assist to lead the Lakers.
Nathan Woodbury added two goals and two assists, while Durgin McKusick, Corey Woodbury and David Whitman also scored for Greenville.
Judson Belmont and Jeff Farrington each had two assists.
Brandon Lavigne posted his fourth straight shutout in goal, saving eight of 10 shots for the 5-2-1 Lakers. Ricky Parks had 23 saves on 35 shots for 0-7 East Grand.
Georges Valley 4, Monmouth 1
At Monmouth, Mark Chamberlin scored Georges Valley’s first goal with the help of Nigel Black to help lead them to their ninth straight win of the season.
A.J. Staples, Lysha Spreaque, and Nick Millor each scored a goal for the Buccaneers of Thomaston and Jesse Wilgas made an assist. Matt Judkins stopped three of five shots for 9-0 Georges Valley.
Mark Wade scored on a Stu Isaacson assist for 7-3 Monmouth and Kyle Pelletier made three saves on 10 attempts.
Ellsworth 11, Bucksport 1
At Bucksport, Kris Tracy led Ellsworth to their ninth win of the year with three goals.
Alex Lyons scored a goal and had two assists for the Eagles. A.J. Martin, Casey Lock, Chris Newett, and Andy Berry each netted a goal and made one assist as David Langley, Tom Burns, and Jake Kane all scored a goal. Jay Duhaime made five saves on 11 shots for 9-0-1 Ellsworth.
Mike Carr scored on a Justin Miliano assist with seconds remaining for 0-8 Bucksport. Kevin Pacheco turned away five of 23 shots.

At Hampden, Bud Bridges scored two goals to help lead Hampden to the win in the rain.
Alex Wiken and Alex Reynolds both netted a goal for the Broncos and Billy Shannon made two assists. Keith Zanardi and Peter Alexander each provided an assist. Kenny Mayo turned away six of eight attempts for 6-4 Hampden.
Evan McDaniel and Mike Conrad each scored for Nokomis of Newport and Matt Thornton aided with an assist. Zack Wing blocked eight of 12 shots for the 1-9-1 Warriors.
