BAR HARBOR – The Maine Association of Nonprofits and the Board Network are co-hosting “Board Governance 2003: Charting a Strategic Course,” a conference targeted at key governance issues common to nonprofit organizations throughout the state.
The event will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 22-23, at Atlantic Oakes by the Sea.
Keynote speakers will be Judith Miller-Millesen, assistant professor of political science at Ohio University and a member of the advisory board of Board Source, and Ruth McCambridge, editor in chief of Nonprofit Quarterly, a management journal for nonprofits.
