ANAHEIM, Calif. – Anaheim Mighty Ducks defenseman Keith Carney has a broken right foot, the team said Friday.
He was injured blocking a shot in Anaheim’s 3-1 exhibition victory Thursday night over the Phoenix Coyotes. Carney, who starred at the University of Maine from 1988 to 1991, was to be evaluated by a doctor Friday night to determine how much time he will miss.
