BUCKSPORT – Kathy Downes Gray, Bucksport town clerk, received her certified municipal clerk certification Aug. 7 from the New England Municipal Clerks Institute and Academy at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

At the institute, Gray completed a three-year intensive program intended to assist clerks in furthering their knowledge and expertise in the field.
