BANGOR – A bus will go to Washington, D.C., for a march that aims to help end the U.S. occupation of Iraq.

The bus will leave Bangor at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, and will return the morning of Oct. 26.

The cost for the trip is $85, but scholarship assistance may be available. Contributions from those who can’t go or who want to sponsor someone else to go are welcome. For information or to reserve a seat, call Mike Reynolds at 941-9821.

A solidarity rally will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 25, at Cascade Park on Route 2 for those who can’t attend the march.
