UNITY – Jocelyn Omerod scored off a Kyla Laplante assist with 19 minutes left in regulation to tie the game for the Unity Rams and send it into scoreless double overtime as the Rams and University of Maine-Machias settled for the 1-1 women’s soccer tie Wednesday.
Anne Carter made 28 saves on 30 shots for 5-5-1 Unity.
Stephanie Connors scored an unassisted first-half goal for 4-4-3 UMM and Sara Ricker made eight saves on 11 shots.
Bowdoin 5, So. Maine 0
At Brunswick, Christine Goss tallied a goal plus an assist as the Polar Bears blanked Southern Maine.
Hillary Smith, Michal Shapiro, Jill Falwell and Ivy Blackmore added goals while Kelsey Wilcox, Katherine Donoghue, Cedar Goldman and Elizabeth Graham had assists for 7-2 Bowdoin. Anna Shapell and Rebekah Metzler combined for two saves on three shots.
Marcy Ansley and Rachel Kwantz faced 25 shots and saved 12 for the 4-6-1 Huskies.
Lyndon State 1, UMF 1 (2OT)
At Lyndonville, Vt., Jodie Welch converted an Erin Campbell pass in the second half to earn the tie for the University of Maine-Farmington.
Autumn Hill scored in the first half for Lyndon State.
Patty Boutin had one save for 6-2-1 UMF while Lindsey Maguire finished with two saves for Lyndon State.

Husson 3, St. Joseph’s 1
At Standish, Amanda Brown knocked in two goals in the first half to lead the Braves past the Monks.
Tricia Hamm scored off a pass from Lindsay Coate in the second half for Husson. Jamie Giles had three saves on nine shots.
Davan Clawson scored the Monks’ goal with an assist from Katie Wight. Jessica LaFlamme stopped seven out of 10 shots.
