UNITY – The Sebasticook River Watershed Association will hold an open house on Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Unity Community Center, with the theme “celebrating our paddling heritage.”
A 1 p.m. social hour will be followed by a conservation awards ceremony. Keynote speaker Zip Kellogg, known for paddling in the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race standing up and wearing a tuxedo, will discuss his experiences padding the Sebasticook River and other rivers in Maine.
The association’s annual business meeting will begin at 4 p.m.
