DEXTER – Joey Carmichael passed for two touchdowns and Nick Tymoczko rushed for two more scores Saturday as Bucksport downed the Dexter Tigers 32-13 in an LTC Class C football matchup.
Chris Woodman scored the game’s first TD for the Bucks on a 65-yard first-quarter run. He finished with 129 yards on 15 rushes, while Tymoczko had a game-high 145 yards on nine carries and scoring runs of 4 and 51 yards.
Carmichael, who completed 8 of 17 passes for 144 yards, had touchdown strikes of 30 yards to John Harvey and 17 yards to Josh Johnson.
Quarterback Eric Day paced 2-5 Dexter. He completed nine passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns, both to Mark Pullen. Pullen had six catches for 83 yards, including TD receptions of 36 and 13 yards. Tight end Chris Rabideau had three catches for 25 yards for the Tigers.

At Bangor’s Cameron Stadium, Wade Oliver scored three touchdowns Saturday night, including a 20-yard run on Rockland’s first offensive series, as the Tigers won for the fourth time in their last five games.
Girls soccer
Hermon 0, Orono 0 (2OT)
At Hermon Saturday, the host Hawks and Orono played to a double-overtime scoreless tie in their regular-season finale.
Shannon Wiggin had 11 saves on 13 shots for 3-5-6 Hermon. Marie Lint had 15 saves on 18 shots for 6-5-3 Orono.
JV: Orono 2-1
Shead 2, Woodland 1
At Woodland, Skylar Richardson scored the game-winner early in the second half and as Shead of Eastport won the Downeast Athletic Conference title.
Patricia Candelmo gave Shead a 1-0 lead in the first half with a goal on a Samantha Davis assist. Davis also assisted on Richardson’s winner. Brittany Cox had seven saves on 14 shots.
Woodland’s Kaitlyn Leeman tied the game in the first half. Alicia Vose assisted on the goal. Lauren Troiani stopped six of 10 shots.
Highview Chr. 2, WA Raiders 2
At Charleston Friday, Alyssa Scott scored two first-half goals to help Highview Christian battle to a double-overtime tie against the Washington Academy Raiders of East Machias.
Katie Mann assisted on one of Scott’s goals and the other was unassisted for 5-6-1 Highview. Danielle Day made eight saves on 15 shots.
Sara Rushforth scored an unassisted goal for the 2-10 Raiders and Kara Preston tied the game at 2-2 with 40 seconds left in the first half when she converted a Joy Grannis pass. Meghann Look made 15 saves on 24 shots.
Boys soccer
Orono 2, Hermon 1
At Orono, Alysha Klose and Tom Smyth each scored second-half goals Saturday for the host Red Riots.
Tom Boyle and Tony Raymond added assists. Mat Lint made three saves on five shots for 5-8-1 Orono.
Adam Gould scored late in the second half for the 9-3-2 Hawks. Corey Archer saved seven of nine shots.
JV: Hermon 1-0
Mount Desert 4, Bucksport 1
At Bar Harbor on Friday, Avi Gabel-Richards scored two goals to lead the host Trojans past the Golden Bucks.
Jake Megquier and Richard Hilliard also scored goals. Hilliard and Booth Dargis added assists for 9-3-2 MDI.
Mike Orr scored the only goal for 0-14 Bucksport.
