Adam Maclaszcyk and Kevin Greene gave 5-9-1 Mount Ida a short-lived lead, with an assist from Arly Noel. Daniel Boreham saved seven of 21 shots.

Husson wins two
At Bangor, the Husson field hockey team won a pair of games over the weekend, 1-0 over the University of Maine at Farmington on Sunday and 3-0 over Thomas on Saturday.
On Sunday, Karol Anne Emery scored the lone goal 15 minutes into the game off a Jen Comeau pass. Jamie Giles and Shani Hollins combined for seven saves.
Ashleigh Beitte had nine saves for the 7-5 Beavers. Husson is now 10-3.

Maine beats Hartford
At Orono Saturday, the UMaine volleyball team knocked off Hartford 30-24, 18-30, 30-23, 31-33, 15-11, upping its record to 10-15. Hartford falls to 8-13.
Kaili Jordan led the Bears with 14 digs and 21 kills. Alaina Kleparek had 11 digs and eight kills while Jody Connacher notched 15 digs.
Kelly McEathron led the Hawks with 22 kills and 11 digs. Stephanie Volckers had 21 kills and 14 digs, and Lauren Bucherie notched 11 digs.
UMF tops UMPI, MMA
At Machias, the University of Maine at Farmington volleyball team defeated the University of Maine at Presque Isle 3-0 and Maine Maritime Academy 2-1 in matches played Saturday.
Jesse Andreozzi recorded 31 kills, 12 aces and 28 digs in the two matches for 14-7 UMF, while Jackie Scott had 26 kills, 10 aces and 12 digs.
