FORT KENT – Roberta Guerrette has been named diabetes education coordinator at Northern Maine Medical Center.

An employee at NMMC since 2001, Guerrette previously worked in the pharmacy as a supervisor and pharmacist’s assistant. She began her nursing career at NMMC following her graduation from the Catherine Laboure School of Nursing in Boston. She later left to become the director of nurses at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.

Guerrette also has experience in the fields of school nursing and home care from her work at Wisdom High School and the Dr. Levesque School, as well as the Visiting Nurses Association.
