Our elected people talked for years of helping do away with two Maines, then they build a prison in Warren where enough help is not available.

Those who are available do not like the wages and benefits that the people in the Machias area would have loved to hold. So much for the talk of two Maines.

Now we have a casino question in southwestern Maine. A casino only stays in business if it is filled with losers; some of our representatives qualify.
