ORONO – Chris Woodman rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries as the Bucksport Golden Bucks downed Orono 42-0 in an LTC Class C football regular-season finale.

The win was the fifth straight for third seed Bucksport, which will take a 7-2 record into next weekend’s LTC playoffs.

With his performance against the Red Riots, Woodman surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for the season for coach Joel Sankey’s club.

Nick Tymoczko added 82 yards and a score on three carries as Bucksport amassed 292 rushing yards. Quarterback Joey Carmichael completed 10 of 12 passes for 150 yards and two TDs and finished the season with more than 1,000 passing yards.

Bucksport got off to a quick start, as John Harvey returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown.

The Golden Bucks led 21-0 after the first quarter and 35-0 at intermission.

Orono finished the season with a 3-6 record.

Oak Hill 43, Old Town 6

At Old Town Saturday, Kyle Harrington scored four touchdowns and Adam Labbe scored a touchdown, passed for two others and kicked a field goal as the playoff-bound Raiders improved to 6-2 on the season.

Harrington scored on runs of 25, 26 and 25 yards and caught a 47-yard TD pass from Labbe. Labbe also passed 30 yards to Eric Daniels for a touchdown and returned an interception 35 yards for a score.

Old Town (0-8) scored on a 35-yard pass from Jarrett Lucas to Jake Fogarty.

Belfast 35, Hampden 6

At Hampden Friday , Josh Aldus ran for 186 yards on 27 carries and scored three touchdowns as well as a fumble recovery and an interception to lead Belfast to its sixth win of the season.

With Aldus’ 186-yard game, he became a 1,000 yard rusher on the season.

Paul Herman ran 16 yards for the touchdown and Tim Morley returned an interception for a touchdown for Belfast. Nick Arthers had seven carries for 56 yards and completed two of six passes for 56 yards.

John Higgins scored on a run yard run for the touchdown in the first quarter for Hampden. Trainor Kapler had 13 carreis for 85 yards.
