EAST MACHIAS – A public supper honoring veterans will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Elm Street School.

The dinner is free to all area veterans and their spouses. There will be a donation basket for others.

Turkey, ham, potatoes, carrots, peas, rolls, beverages and dessert are planned. The dinner is sponsored by the East Machias River Day Committee and the Irving Oil Co. The snow date is Sunday, Nov. 9.
