CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy will hold its annual Veterans Day observance at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the U.S. Flag Quadrangle on

the main lawn between Leavitt Hall and the student center.

The public event honors all U.S. armed forces and merchant marine veterans for their service and will include a special ceremony conducted by the Down East Chapter of the U.S. Merchant Marine Veterans’ Association.

Capt. Laurence V. Wade will deliver the keynote address.
