CASTLETON, Vt. – Autumn Tuttle scored the winning penalty kick in sudden death to lead No. 3 Husson to a 1-0 upset of No. 2 Castleton State in the NAC women’s soccer tournament semifinals Wednesday.
The teams played to a 0-0 tie through 110 minutes, and tied 3-3 through the first round of five penalty kicks.
Janie Michaud and Shaina Goode also converted penalty kicks for Husson. Leah Drew made seven saves on 23 shots for the shutout.
Top-ranked University of Maine-Farmington will host Husson Saturday in the conference final.

At Farmington, Jodie Welch was credited with an own goal and Erin Campbell scored another to give the Beavers a NAC semifinal win.
Patty Boutin made five saves on 10 Lasell shots for 15-3-1 UMaine-Farmington.
Men’s soccer
Maine-Hartford postponed
The America East men’s soccer quarterfinal between the University of Maine, the sixth seed, and third seed Hartford was postponed Wednesday night due to inclement weather.
It has been rescheduled for today at 11 a.m. at Curtiss Field in Simsbury, Conn.
The winner will play at No. 2 Binghamton (N.Y.) on Saturday at 1 p.m.

At Auburn, Taylor Caron scored 27 points and Lance Poland tossed in 22 more as Central Maine Community College prevailed over Eastern Maine Community College.
Josh Berard added 15 points and Chris Brackett 12 for the winners.
Daryl Watson led the Eagles of Bangor with 24 points. Tony Pebbles notched 19, Joey Dionne 16, and Cyle Arbuckle 14.
