FORT KENT – Acting University of Maine at Fort Kent athletic director John Murphy has selected Eric Werntgen as the men’s basketball coach for the 2003-2004 season and Lucas Levesque will replace Werntgen as the women’s basketball coach.

Werntgen was appointed the men’s basketball coach last week after head men’s coach and athletic director Jim Graffam resigned to accept a position at Green Mountain College in Vermont.
