FORT POLK, La. – Michael May of Old Town has been promoted to the rank of captain in the U.S. Army. He serves with the 2nd Armored Cavalry. The son of Richard and Carol May of Old Town, May is a 1996 graduate of Old Town High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine, where he was the ROTC battalion commander.
