NORTHPORT – The East and West battled to a 4-4 tie in the boys half of the ninth annual Maine Soccer Coaches Senior Bowl while the West defeated the East 1-0 in the girls all-star game.

In the boys game, Andrew Worth of Gray-New Gloucester netted two goals to lead the West.

Francis Khamis of Portland and Kevin Conway of Bonny Eagle in Buxton each added a goal for the West. Falmouth’s Danny Forcella and Mike Scott of Traip Academy of Kittery each had an assist. Tim Martinson of Scarborough and Maranacook of Readfield’s Tyler Matovachick each spent time in goal.

Joe Corey of Winslow scored twice for the East. Old Town’s John Garrity and Luke Ferreira of Mt. Blue of Farmington each netted a goal. Marc Labbe of Waterville had two assists while Marshall Holmes and Brandon Grudda of Lawrence of Fairfield each had one assist. Josh Luellen of Piscataquis Community High School of Guilford and Belfast’s Collin Cunning split time in goal.

In the girls game, Lindsay Leone of Wiscasset netted an unassisted game-winning goal for the West. Mallory Wilson of Gray-New Gloucester and Valley of Bingham ‘s Laretta Fizmaurice both spent time in goal.

Houlton’s Anna Lenentine and Beth Melanson of Lewiston shared goalkeeping duties for the East.
