Brittany Veazie of Dexter has been named one of three finalists for the Miss Maine Field Hockey Award for the top senior in the state regardless of class.

Veazie, a center midfielder, helped lead the Tigers to the Class C state championship this year. She is joined by midfielder Katie Curran of South Portland and Massabesic of Waterboro forward Stephanie Walker.

The winner will be named at a Maine Field Hockey Association awards banquet Dec. 7 at the Augusta Civic Center.

Gardiner High’s Heather McNally will receive the Steph Lunt 12th Player Award. Ben Bragdon of the Piscataquis Observer was named the winner of the media award.
