BANGOR – Ilze Petersons, the program coordinator for the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine, will be honored for her contributions to the community at the Just Desserts! Event at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Union Street Brick Church.

The public is welcome to attend the dessert extravaganza. A live jazz combo will play at the event. Suggested donations are $10 a ticket or $20 for a family of four.
