Santa’s helper update

More donations to the Santa’s Helper Fund arrived Friday, bringing the total received to $3,001 towards the $50,000 goal.

Individuals and groups contributing include: Gaelen and Roxanne Saucier in memory of Robby Beck, Veazie, $40; Courtland Living Center and Auxiliary, Ellsworth, $25; AMVETS Post 9, Old Town, $25; and anonymous, Newport, $25.

Also contributing were Connie Seavey in memory of her son, Herb Damon, Mount Desert, $25; Maxine and Henry Hunter Jr. in memory of Maxine’s mother, Ferne Pratt Jones, Macwahoc, $25; Warren and Catherine Hanson, Lee, $25; Brenda Kempton, Plymouth, $15; and Paul Wilson, Calais, $10.

All donations are given to The Salvation Army to benefit those families or individuals who need a helping hand over the holidays in your individual communities.

Donations may be sent to Santa’s Helper Fund, P.O. Box 1329, Bangor 04402-1329. Donors’ names and dollar amounts will be published daily in the Santa’s Helper column. Donors who wish to remain anonymous will be listed as such. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
