LEWISTON – After a 20-year run, the Maine State Parade in Lewiston-Auburn is apparently history. WCSH-TV said it will no longer organize and produce the parade, as it has each May since 1983. The event typically involved more than 100 school bands and other groups, attracting tens of thousands of people to the Twin Cities.
