Abby Wambach, the leading goal scorer for the U.S. team in the World Cup earlier this fall, will sign autographs at the Maine Sports Complex in Hampden on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.

The 23-year-old Wambach, the WUSA Rookie of the Year in 2002 and the co-WUSA scoring leader with Washington teammate Mia Hamm this past season, had three goals in the World Cup for the United States.

In conjunction with the autograph signing, University of Maine women’s soccer coach Scott Atherley and his America East-runnerup Black Bear team will conduct a clinic for youngsters 16 years of age and under. Players should wear soccer gear and bring their own ball.
