FARMINGTON – Lydia Coverdale scored 16 points and had four steals to help lead the University of Maine at Farmington to a 60-43 women’s college basketball win over St. Joseph’s College on Tuesday.
Karen Sirois had 11 points and four steals for UM-Farmington.
Megan Tetrault netted 10 points and had four assists for St. Joseph’s and Morgan Brownlee added 10 points and had four blocks.

At Rock Hill, S.C., freshman Torrell Martin had 15 points to lead Winthrop to a 96-46 win over Maine-Machias on Monday night.
The Eagles (1-1) jumped out to a 21-5 lead early in the first half and led 45-19 at the half. The Clippers (4-5) trailed by as many as 55 points with 2:21 left.
James Shuler and Tyrone Walker had 13 points each for Winthrop. Bayi Handy had 23 points for Maine-Machias.
