MONSON – Mark Lewis was elected as selectman during a special town meeting last week. Lewis will serve in the seat until the March 2005 town meeting. Residents adopted a board of appeals ordinance that will help serve as the guideline for the appeals process.

MONSON – Mark Lewis was elected as selectman during a special town meeting last week. Lewis will serve in the seat until the March 2005 town meeting.

Residents adopted a board of appeals ordinance that will help serve as the guideline for the appeals process.

Also, the town accepted the DAR building located next to the town office as a gift.

The Tisbury Manor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution donated the building, which houses the historical museum. The local historical society will seek town approval to continue operating the museum in the building.
