Leah Cohen Lamkin, associate AIA, has joined Smith Reuter Lull Architects, a Lewiston-based firm that provides a wide range of planning and design services to its clients throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Formerly of Bangor, Lamkin joins Smith Reuter Lull Architects after three years of internship with architectural firms in Maine and New York City. She received her bachelor’s degree of architecture from Syracuse University.
David J. Smallwood of Holden has been named a vice president in the mortgage department at Peoples Heritage Bank in Bangor. He will continue to manage the residential mortgage loan department at the 77 Exchange St. branch. Smallwood joined Peoples in 1996 and has 10 years in banking. He previously served as a loan consultant and a senior loan officer. Smallwood is a 1986 graduate of University of Maine in Machias.
