Julie Dawson of Bangor has joined U.S. Sen. Susan Collins’ Governmental Affairs Committee staff in Washington as a staff assistant. Dawson is a 1999 graduate of Bangor High School and 2003 graduate of Bowdoin College, where she majored in international relations and Spanish.
