WATERBORO – State police investigating the death of a pedestrian in North Waterboro were asking Sunday for help from the public. Star Fredette, 44, of North Waterboro was killed Saturday after a vehicle struck her as she walked in the line of traffic.

WATERBORO – State police investigating the death of a pedestrian in North Waterboro were asking Sunday for help from the public.

Star Fredette, 44, of North Waterboro was killed Saturday after a vehicle struck her as she walked in the line of traffic.

Fredette was taken to Goodall Hospital in Sanford, where she was pronounced dead.

Police were looking for more information from anyone who might have been in the area at the time. Police also were awaiting results of toxicology tests in their investigation.
