Who ever told you mutual funds were safe (BDN editorial, Nov. 26)? I have been a licensed financial adviser for more than 20 years and have never used the words mutual fund and safe in the same sentence.

Though they certainly offer diversity they can be every bit as volatile as individual stocks.
