Shoppers who want to aid in the work of the Children’s Miracle Network can purchase Kris Kringle Money and Angel Dollars gift sets at the Bangor Wal-Mart. All profits from the gift sets benefit CMN.

Telford Group

BANGOR – The Telford Group has announced that it will sell two of its smaller subsidiaries, Maine Atlantic Aviation in Rockland and Flying Fashions in Bangor.

Maine Atlantic Aviation provides aircraft fueling and charter flight services at the Knox County Regional Airport. Flying Fashions markets flying and sports-related apparel at Bangor International Airport. Telford President Bob Ziegelaar said the sale of the two businesses has not been finalized.

Maine Atlantic Aviation, formerly Telford Aviation, operates daily flights to and from various islands in Penobscot Bay. It is anticipated that new owners will continue and expand those same services. Flying Fashions specializes in flight crew uniforms and related equipment. All current 20 employees are expected to remain employed.

The Telford Group employs 120 in Maine. The company specializes in the repair and overhaul, worldwide sales and leasing of regional-size aircraft in Bangor and Limestone.
