AUGUSTA – State police have issued a travel advisory for the southbound lane of Interstate 95 in Augusta today and Saturday. Work will take place at 11 tonight and end at 5 a.m. Saturday.
Bridge girders will be hoisted into place as part of the third Augusta bridge project.
The road will be shut down for up to 25 minutes at a time in the southbound lane only. Motorists can expect slow or stopped traffic and may want to seek an alternate route.
