ELLSWORTH – The Union River Watershed Coalition will hold a public presentation by Mark Whiting of the Department of Environmental Protection and Janet Redman, coordinator of the URWC, at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at the Hancock Extension office on Boggy Brook Road.
The presentation will highlight the first-year results of the Union River baseline study, based on data collected from April through September about water quality in the Union River.
The URWC is also seeking volunteers to help collect data. For information, call Janet Redman at 288-5015, Ext. 424.
