LEE – Darius Parker scored nine of his game-high 31 points in the fourth quarter and all from the foul line to help the East Grand Vikings of Danforth down Lee Academy 70-60 in Saturday boys basketball action.
Parker scored the 1,000th point of his four-year varsity career. Mike Hanington chipped in with 13 points for the 1-0 Vikings, who outscored Lee 33-10 in the final 11 minutes.
The Vikings outscored Lee 21-2 from the foul line in the second half and 26-6 overall.
