BANGOR – Sarah Davis scored eight of her 13 points in the second half as Husson outscored Maine Maritime Academy 30-17 to erase a two-point halftime deficit en route to a 49-38 women’s basketball win Tuesday night.
Crystal Martin had 11 points for Husson and Holly Gracie had nine more.
Julia Knights’ 12 points sparked the Mariners.

At Farmington, Melissa Roller hit a running 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the University of New England Nor’easters to victory.
Roller paced the winners of Biddeford with 20 points and four assists. Missy Stults chipped in with 18 points and Natasha Dyer netted 10.
Kari Simpson and Kate LaHaye each scored 17 points for UMF, Karen Sirois put in 16 and Lydia Coverdale had 13. LaHaye also had 10 rebounds and Coverdale notched six assists.

At Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, Dwayne Ailey scored 18 points and also contributed seven rebounds, five assists and four steals to pace Husson past North Atlantic Conference rival MMA.
Bill Beauregard scored 14 points, Scott Griffin netted 12 to go with eight rebounds and Scott Cunningham chipped in 11 points and six rebounds for Husson.
B.J. Dunlap and Matt Clement each scored 26 ponts to lead MMA. Clement also grabbed 16 rebounds and Dunlap had 11.
