Jen Buckley of the University of Maine has been named to the Academic All-America Women’s Soccer third team. The senior zoology major from Leicester, Mass., boasts a 3.89 grade point average.
Buckley, a two-time team captain, helped lead a Black Bear defense that allowed only 13 goals in 19 games. She was an All-America East second-team pick for 13-3-3 UMaine.
