ORONO – The University of Maine men’s basketball team named its captains on Thursday. Seniors Ludmil “Udo” Hadjisotirov, Eric Dobson, and Jon Wallingford will serve as tri-captains.

Hadjisotirov is a transfer from Boston College and has averaged 5.5 points per game in the past two seasons.

Dobson has started all five games and averages 10 points per game for the Black Bears. He is averaging a team-high 7.2 assists which ranks first in America East and is tied for 11th in the nation.

Wallingford scored a career-high 12 points in a win over the University of New England.
