Santa’s Helper update

On Friday, more donations arrived addressed to the Santa’s Helper Fund. It is very heartwarming to see the outpouring of support for The Salvation Army through this fund-raising effort. Salvation Army staff and volunteers are working very long days right now to make sure the most basic of needs of many people are being met this holiday season.

Thanks go out to the latest contributors, including Cheryl Clement, in memory of Darryl, Milford, $50; Timothy and Roxanne Reynolds, in memory of Madaline Leathers, Brewer, $100; In loving memory of Mama and Papa Baron and Bella and Jerome, from Beth and Frank, Bangor, $50; Walter and Lucille Kelley, in memory of daughter Lori Jo, Bar Harbor, $25; Andrew Veilleux, Bar Harbor, $25; Zachary Veilleux, Bangor, $25; and Anonymous, Orono, $25.

Also contributing were Charlene and Floyd McLaughlin in memory of their parents, Sylvia and Charles Abbott and Goldie and Floyd McLaughlin, Sr., Old Town, $25; and Anonymous, Glenburn, $10.
