SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sonia Corriveau scored two goals to help lead the University of Maine Black Bears to an 8-2 women’s ice hockey win over Union Friday night.

Meagan Aarts and Brigitte LaFlemme each scored a goal and had two assists for 6-7-3 Maine. Morgan Janusc and Kate Sunstrum each had an goal and an assist. Cheryl White and Carolyn Faust both had a goal. Karen Droog had two assists. Amy Rodgers and Rachel Gettings combined to make 10 saves on 12 shots.

Courtney Riepenhoff scored for Union in the second with assists from Elise Nichols and Carlie McNeill. Laruen Carlson had 58 saves on 66 shots.
