Outlook: On paper, this is a decided advantage for the Bears, who are trying to extend a four-game win streak and get back in game shape after a two-week layoff. Despite the presence of two tall centers, Dartmouth has been outrebounded by almost four per game this season. Maine is averaging 40.8 per game while limiting the opponents to 33.0. Another key statistic is scoring, where the Bears are averaging almost 76.8 per game, 11 points better than opponents and 15.3 better than the Big Green. The Black Bears hope to have senior co-captain Ludmil “Udo” Hadjisotirov back this week after a two-week absence with a sprain. The Bears will get the services of Notre Dame transfer and Portland native Chris Markwood this coming weekend after the current semester ends.
