BOOTHBAY – Ryan Holbrook hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left in regulation to force overtime, then David Wilgus went 7-for-9 from the foul line in overtime to lift Georges Valley of Thomaston to a 75-66 boys basketball victory over Boothbay Region.

Brett Hutchinson paced Georges Valley with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Wilgus provided 16 points and seven assists. A.J. Staples contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds and Matt Judkins added 11 points.

Mike Norton paced Boothbay with a game-high 22 points. Ray Arsenault netted 13.
