The Maine Public Advocate released its latest Ratewatcher Telecom Guide, aimed at making consumers more informed about the telecommunications market.

The 16-page guide is free of charge to Maine residents and provides updated prices for long-distance service, local service, prepaid calling, 10-10 numbers, international rates, wireless service and Internet service.

More than 30,000 people in Maine read the semi-annual Ratewatcher Guide. Residents can request a copy by calling 287-2445, or by writing to The Public Advocate, SHS 112, Augusta 04333.
